Our Services

At Empowerment Intervention Services, we offer a range of services to help clients overcome emotional and behavioral issues. Our approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Some of our services include:

01

Skills Training & Development

Focuses on improving communication skills, appropriate interpersonal behaviors, and other skills necessary for independent living or, when age-appropriate, functioning effectively with family, peers, and teachers. Skill training may include anger management skills, social skills, money management, and natural support development.

02

Helps individuals to address their needs on a one-on-one basis by gaining therapeutic support with working through personal challenges, resolving personal conflicts and accomplishing personal goals. When specific issues in your life are causing distress and interfere with your normal activities, it may be time to seek psychotherapy.

03

Family Therapy

If you’re looking for quality family therapy sessions with licensed experts that care, you’re right where you need to be. Counseling can be effective when the entire family is involved, especially for a struggling child or teens. Therapy allows families to address issues affecting their connectivity, explore history of conflict, and enhance communication.

04

Medication Management & Support

Consists of education and guidance about medications and their possible side effects. It is curriculum-based training and guidance that serves as an initial orientation for the person in understanding the nature of his/her mental illnesses or emotional disturbances and the role of medications in ensuring symptom reduction and increased tenure in the community.

05

Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services

Social, behavioral, and cognitive interventions provided by members of a person’s therapeutic team that builds on strengths and focuses on restoring the persons ability to develop and maintain social relationships, occupational or educational achievement, and other independent living skills that are affected by or the result of a serious mental illness in persons 17 and older.

06

Crisis Intervention

These methods are used to offer immediate help to individuals who experience an event that produces emotional, mental, physical, and behavioral distress or problems. Our team provides face-to-face help to people who are at risk of harm to self or others. EIS provides counseling services to people at their home, school or other location – 24/7, 365 days a year.
